Centra Care — Branded Professionalism

Centra Care, Florida Hospital’s Urgent Care facility, underwent a major rebranding and renovation of their facilities. It was all about change from top to bottom. In conjunction with their efforts, they wanted their new image to be complemented by an equally well-designed and thoughtful uniform program – possessing an aura of trust, professionalism and innovation. At the core of their renovation was their new logo. Centra Care wanted it to drive the look and feel of every piece.

Cintas designers responded with an innovation of their own – by hospital standards – utilizing the new logo as a badge of distinction on numerous pieces, including the custom tie. In order to elevate the branding even higher and deliver a greater level of cohesiveness, the designers used fabric that was the exact same color as their logo – cobalt blue – to reinforce the association with Centra Care.

The excitement around the rebranding and new apparel collection extended from Centra Care and its employees to the judges of the NAUMD Image of the Year Awards. As a result, Cintas Design won the 2008 Award for Healthcare Apparel.

The Image of the Year Awards, held annually by the National Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD), recognize outstanding design in the field of corporate uniforms and image apparel for those uniform programs within the United States.
