Cintas Names Lance Bates President and COO,
National Account Sales Division
Bill Cronin Promoted to Senior V.P. and Assistant to the CEO

CINCINNATI, OH, November 7, 2007 — Scott D. Farmer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS), announced today that Lance Bates has joined the company as President and COO, National Account Sales Division. Bates replaces Bill Cronin, who has been promoted to the newly created position of Senior Vice President and Assistant to the CEO.

Prior to joining Cintas, Bates served at the General Electric Company, most recently as General Manager-Sales, Diagnostic Imaging for the Healthcare Division, a position he held since 2003. Bates joined GE in 1988 and served in various field sales positions, including Sales Representative for the Healthcare team and Corporate Accounts Manager.

From 1998 to 2003 Bates served at INPHACT, Inc. as Vice President of Sales and Marketing before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In 2003 he returned to GE to his most recent position.

Bates holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Bill Cronin has served in various sales positions at Cintas since 1984, including Group Vice President of the rental uniform business and President and Chief Operating Officer of the National Account Sales Division (NASD). Following his promotion to President and COO, Cronin increased National Account Direct Sale and National Rental revenue from $400 million to over $800 million in five years.
